here at the precipice of the world, of our lives, I stand.
grateful for the time, for the voice in my hands, and otherwise...
the hardships have not been so hard, and the elation has always been good in the fragile moment.
fortunate in odd grace have I been, in company of the good and decent souls in all or little valued times.
news of the varied and horrible ever present to remind of this fair sphere of being.
narrowing, in it's foretold and biblical way to a common grim understanding..
the weeding of the disapproved and ill minded, beholden.
I embrace. Love. appreciate. forgive. and never-mind shallow difference.
The days are short.
my accumulation, my tally.. long.
I greet my destination with unease, but not altogether unafraid.
the details unravel, the tapestry unfolds, the smoke and garment trailing to an unseeable horizon behind.
